1. Leadership & Appointments

  • Kevin Jensen was formally elected President.
  • Mackenzie Real was formally elected Secretary.

2. 2026 Event Schedule

  • Spring Fling: March 13th–15th (Setup: March 12th).
    • Competition begins Saturday at 5 PM.
    • Pre-registration is mandatory for both the competition and the fun shoot.
  • Spring Clean up: April 4th.
  • Icebreaker: April 18th–19th.
  • Utah Bow Swap: May 30th.
  • State Field: June 6th.
  • Bowhunter Rendezvous: July 11th–12th OR 25th–26th.
  • Halloween Shoot: October 9th–10th.
  • Family Night: Approved in concept; Justin to arrange.

3. Targets & Equipment

  • The Board approved the purchase of targets and inserts up to $12,500, with an emphasis on 3D targets.
  • Orders will be placed using the Reinhardt account, coordinating with Tracy.

4. Registration, Scoring & Communication

  • A separate online pre-registration entry will be created for competitions.
  • Scorecards and class breakdowns will be automated in advance.
  • A QR code will be created for club and registration information.
  • Event flyers will be distributed approximately one month prior to events.

5. Staffing & Range Improvements

  • Range Captain: The club is exploring a Co-Captain model to distribute responsibilities; this topic will be revisited in February.
  • Grants: The Board approved pursuing an Easton Foundation grant through the UAA.
  • Proposed Improvements: Temporary target houses (on skids), gravel, and updated signage.

6. Financial Report

  • 2025 Net Income: Approximately $12,000.
  • Current Bank Balance: $47,232.
  • Pending Payments: $2,000 to Ted Smith’s widow, Smoker winners, and 2025 UAA dues.
  • The Zions Bank account will be updated with the new officers.

7. Administrative & Technology

  • Tax Matters: The Board will arrange a CPA member to oversee professional tax filing support.
  • Technology: Approved the purchase of a new laptop for club digital operations.
  • Meeting Frequency: A proposal to change the club meeting frequency was voted down.

8. Dealer Partnership & Membership Incentive

  • Local archery dealers will receive Timp Archers vouchers for customers who purchase a new bow setup.
  • Each voucher includes $25 off a working membership.
  • No cap will be placed on the number of vouchers distributed to encourage club growth.
